Toys!!!

I was checking out your gear page and drooling a lot (I'm a gearophile) and I was checking out your rack based effects. Now from your Bradshaw unite, that goes into the two 4x4s and does that control your FireworX and G-Force, and what's the third TC device, it looks like a delay. Do you control these devices via MIDI inputs or is the footswitch controling one and providing loops for a few pedals? In the mean time I'll just keep wishing for the day when I have cash. Another thing is if you like 7 strings, have you tried Baritones or any different scale necks?

Hey Invisibo..

The gear page is done with all the "toys".

Yes the delay unit is the TC Electronic D2.

The 4x4's are simply FX loops. You can turn them on and off individually to control different FX units. You use the loops so that the signal isn't going through every piece of gear all the time (which preserves the integrity of the signal). My rig is a stereo set up so each piece of gear uses 2 loops (left and right). The 4x4s then go into a "summing" unit on the back of the rack that then goes to the FX loop of amp 1 and just the return of the FX loop of amp 2. It also handles channel switching and sends the midi signal to the RS-10 (the Bradshaw midi foot controller).

I haven't tried any of the baritone guitars yet.

Dave
