Agreed. Sometimes, the shredding gets old. There's got to be some emotion and tastiness in the playing, otherwise, it's just a bunch of notes. I mean, I love Petrucci, for instance, but frankly, he couldn't look any more bored when he's playing. I want to see him maybe make some faces, other than the obligatory "Wait! Need to make snarley-face at the audience now!" expression...
