I whole-heartedly agree with those who said Richie Kotzen, Steve Howe, Ron Thal, and Frank Gambale. But I would have to also say, we should have that man who's one of the most underrated guitarists... Ty Tabor!! Tabor's got the funk.

Paul Gilbert NEEDS to play on the G3

John 5 would be awesome

Tomoyasu Hotei the most popular guitarist in the WORLD!! He did that catchy Kill Bill song, guys a damn legend, that would be the most awesome G3 - at least in Japan!

Myself. Satriani, Vai and me? Hell yeah!

Vernon Reid. That would kick some serious ass.

Buckethead wouldn't work. He's good, but a little to theatric.

My next impulse is George Lynch. Hes a monster, but does he have enough instrumental material?

SOOOO... I go the OPPOSITE direction and pick... JUNIOR BROWN.

Paul Gilbert is good choice. My favourite. And Steve Lukather, Vinnie Moore, Steve Morse, Gary Moore. Or what about Michael Angelo? Well maybe not. Jason Becker when he is healthy again and he can play.

Haha that's an awesome claim to fame. Michael Angelo's a bit of a dick... but I love him still. And I would go see Buckethead on G3, well if he played his Star Wars medley

I'd love to see Alex Lifeson. It would add a new twist. I also think he's one of the most tasteful players that I've ever heard. Few can mix creativity and experimentalism (is that a word?) with melody and emotion properly, and he does it. He's always been my strongest influence.

Or Tom Scholtz. I'm way too indecisive sometimes. But yeah, he would be great...especially because of the Rockman. C'mon, y'all know Dunlop killed it.
So yeah...those three. Scholtz, Dweezil, and Lifeson. But Lifeson gets first pick.
