Re: 2005 NAMM Report
Is the RG1570L available in Blue as a regular in North America? Cause I know a Canadian site that has them on their site as a special order.
Picture above is not from the site im talking about.

You know, after looking at a left handed RG like that, I can see why Darren always complained about the lower horn being way to small and thin. I can really see it now!

Wow, you aren't kidding.
That's actually a common (and fun) artist's trick--to look at your subject upside-down or mirrored. A lot of the time, you find that the actual proportions aren't what you think they are. I guess your brain makes you see what you think you should see.
Sometimes, like in this case, the results are really eye opening. It's funny though--if you try this with a Jem, it looks fine. I think the
monkey grip
removes a lot of the visual "weight" of the top horn and the pickguard adds more weight to the bottom horn. Seems to depend a bit on the model.

I actually thought that it only was available in black and not blue!

Re: 2005 NAMM Report
1125 +tax Canadian is the cost of it from the site I was talkin about. Not bad for having it imported and stuff I'd think. Funny thing is that their site says nothin about the black version

Re: 2005 NAMM Report
Today was the first time i looked at some of those NAMM photos. I went to Ibanez.com first but of course theirs sucked. So I knew Rich's page would have good ones. My thought also was that this is the best Ibanez has put out in years. That amber flamed RG3120 really caught my eye, as well as the amber, flamed neck through Prestige model with the Wizard neck. I like that they are using the Wizard profile on the neck through's rather than the Ultra.
Are the prices rising again? I thought they increased them last year. I read on Rich's front page about a July 1st increase and I'm hoping that is left over from last year. I probably could afford one, but it would never leave the house. That's the only problem with buying something that expensive (for me).

Re: 2005 NAMM Report
Was the picture on IbanezRules the only one taken of the RGT42DXFM?
Any more pictures of that guitar would be much appreciated

Look on ****.com, there you can find good pics. Or have a look on japanese sites (ikebe, ishibashi).
