Well I put a bid down, but got out bid. Yup, cool, my name is down as a bidder on vai's geetar. At the current price, I could genuinely afford to bid a few thousand higher, but I think I'll watch for a while.

well the reserve looks to have been $20k, and its now over $22k with 8 days left. WOW....these must be some seriously rich private collectors.

My bet is its going to end at, hrmm, $28,500. I honestly can't see it going for more than that, were already at vintage 50's strat prices.
