Yep, same one. Just got done working there as a matter of fact!! I remember the DNA struggle. I made sure today the same thing wouldn't happen; even talked to the sales manager! I was assured that it wouldn't, but I'm not holding my breath!! I believe it when I have it in my hands!

I should get mine, since I was the one that told Chesbro about the damn thing a long time ago, and had it on order before they had them in their system!!

Re: Js2prm

Since it's such a limited piece, it won't be listed in the catalog.

Re: Js2prm

It does make me wonder,

if they release another "chrome" JS, and it has better bonding or is made out of aluminium or whatever.. in otherwords if the finish will stick...

what will happen to the value of the JS10ths?

Obviously the JS2s will still be sought after... but I do wonder about the reasonable pricing of a JS10th, especially when they go for say £3500 used over here, if this new JS is about £4000 that MUST have an impact?

I doubt it'll have any effect at all. It's limited enough to barely be a blip on the radar screen

Re: Js2prm

Hi guys!
It seems that it's going to be quite a fight to grab one of these...
Do you have any idea how many will be available for Europe?

The problem is see is that if it's such a limited run, the few dealers that will have it here will put a ridiculous price tag on it, say 6000 euros, even though with the low dollar 5300$ should be closer to 4000 euros...

That just means that nobody will be able to get one...

Vince

Re: Js2prm

I've been trying to order them for 3 months.

That had nothing to do with the DNA's, it had to do with the dumbest move, asking if they could drop ship direct to ME. Once they *knew* those were for me, you weren't getting them. They had enough pressure from many other dealers that couldn't get any, and knew I was already getting 5 of theirs. That's why it was a debacle. If he hadn't asked, he would have gotten them

Re: Js2prm

Interesting. I never heard that part of the story. Well, knowing that, now you have a connection. I can get the future ones for you. That is, unless, I want them for myself!! Maybe we can work out deal sometime!!

Re: Js2prm

After reading through this thread again, I noticed nobody has metioned what the finish will be. (Maybe I missed it???)

If the finish is known (aluminum, mirror, etc.)...what is it?

Re: Js2prm

Im with you Vincew. I mean really now. You know it didnt cost that much to make. Guitars are over priced as it is. It's all gravy to them. What they are doing now is the same crap Action Diecast does. Make 100 of something (same as retail but diffrent paint) and sell them only to dealers and then the dealer keeps it or sells them with a 500% markup. =p Scalpers

Re: Js2prm

I think it's alaso the case for all PRS artist guitars, all gibson custom shop etc...

These guitars are not worth the price they cost, but you buy a little piece of dream with those beautifull ones...
It's the same story with relics SRV strat's etc...
