Re: Js2prm
Interesting. I never heard that part of the story. Well, knowing that, now you have a connection. I can get the future ones for you. That is, unless, I want them for myself!! Maybe we can work out deal sometime!!

Re: Js2prm
I think it was Sam? the owner I was dealing with? Anyway it's been so long I've forgotten the name of the store, for some reason I remember the name Sam though

Obviously the JS2s will still be sought after... but I do wonder about the reasonable pricing of a JS10th, especially when they go for say £3500 used over here, if this new JS is about £4000 that MUST have an impact?
I doubt it'll have any effect at all. It's limited enough to barely be a blip on the radar screen

Re: Js2prm
Hi guys!
It seems that it's going to be quite a fight to grab one of these...
Do you have any idea how many will be available for Europe?
The problem is see is that if it's such a limited run, the few dealers that will have it here will put a ridiculous price tag on it, say 6000 euros, even though with the low dollar 5300$ should be closer to 4000 euros...
That just means that nobody will be able to get one...

Re: Js2prm
At that price it'd better come with a pair of replica 'Satriani hands' that i can plug in.
In retrospect, we could'nt have expected anything more or less really from manufacturer and artist. The timing, association and shiney (oooohhh) finish is just a licence to print big bucks. Crap init'.

Re: Js2prm
Looks like Ibanez is using the word rare and limited to shake cash from your hands. What next? JSMukluk? But what ever makes you happy.
I just wish they would do something with the boring normal line in the stores.

Re: Js2prm
I just can't imagine paying the price of 4 (!!) JS1200 for a single JS, whatever the finish/material is!

Re: Js2prm
Im with you Vincew. I mean really now. You know it didnt cost that much to make. Guitars are over priced as it is. It's all gravy to them. What they are doing now is the same crap Action Diecast does. Make 100 of something (same as retail but diffrent paint) and sell them only to dealers and then the dealer keeps it or sells them with a 500% markup. =p Scalpers

Re: Js2prm
I think it's alaso the case for all PRS artist guitars, all
gibson custom shop
etc...
These guitars are not worth the price they cost, but you buy a little piece of dream with those beautifull ones...
It's the same story with relics
SRV strat
's etc...

Re: Js2prm

Re: Js2prm
5300? And they are going to sell around 200? Those are 200 people I would like to meet and make bussines with. =)
And I thought the pricing of the new jem was insane.....well, considering this guitar has a real chrome finish, it may just be as insane as the jem (with the mirrored "pickguard" finish) and not a lot more. Still insane enough to make me laugh and feel sorry for the brand I love, all at the same time.
