Yippee!!!!

Bingo, part of the new flametop price gouge.

>with a retail price of nearly $4k MORE than I paid for my JS10th brand new,

I sure hope that's a typo! I mean I know you stole one on ebay for $810 but $1300 new from a dealer?! Otherwise, very good points

Nope- no typo

I was managing a store in Denver when they came out and bought it from myself. I've still got the invoice in the case. It was just over $1300 before tax. Cost + 5% I believe.

Not possible, the numbers just don't crunch unless they had some crazy +20 back in 98'

Re: Js2prm

I'll double-check the invoice tonight. I was thinking that retail was $2500 and going from memory (which isn't saying much at all).

That was too long ago...anything beyond last week and I'll have to check my records.

All I know is that it was cost+5 is what I ended up paying, and I got the JS10th to count as part of that year's master order so the rep at the time gave it to the store for 50+10 (which I'm pretty sure he wasn't supposed to do!).

Regardless, it was a helluva lot less than the JS2PRM, but not quite as good as the JS10th that I sold Fred.

Re: Js2prm

That would definitely be the difference then That would have put my pre-tax cost at around $1417.50 (around $1520.00 after adding 7.3% sales tax).

Still...a bit less than the $3412.00 the JS2PRM would end up costing me.
