Isn't this just swell....why do they even bother? I'm one of the dumb few that would buy 4, but I obviously may not even get the opportunity.

Re: Js2prm

I heard the reps talking slow tedious process.....

Think of the rest of the world that has to split 22 between 50 distributors

Re: Js2prm

Maybe they should have named it something other than "JS2"

Re: Js2prm

Hi and thanks for the great report/pictures!!

I'm just wondering:

is there a way to know the list of the distributors that will/might have one in Europe?
(I guess since the number of guitars available, they will all be gone before they are even advertised...)

But I'm still sure that they are going to charge 6000 euros for it!

Regards,
Vince

Re: Js2prm

That guitar is pretty tasty I must admit, is a bit pricey but.....I suppose you do get what you pay for. It is pretty special - and the price will only rise over time.

Re: Js2prm

It does look nice, but after all the fuss about it and the speculation as to what exactly it would be I can't help feeling a little dissapointed! There were quite a few posts on here saying 'no way will it be an Aluminum coated/plated body!If anything it'll be an Aluminum hollow-body'.Hmmm!So it's basically a 'Chromeboy' with an improved cosmetic technique when all is said and done.I'd have expected a '15th Anniversary' model to be a bit more of a surprise,looks-wise and in the actual 'technical' department. It's got the new switch but that's not exactly 'ground-breaking' stuff is it!The worst thing about it,I personally think,is the way they've done the 'face-plate' on the headstock. It looks fine in itself, but for it not to cover the complete headstock-face I think looks terrible! It looks like there's just a white bit of bare face wood between the locking-nut and the retainer-bar.Why isn't it covered?
At the end of the day,it doesn't really affect me as it's well out of my price-range anyway, but even if it wasn't,I don't think I'd be spending that sort of cash on what basically amounts to a Ltd.Edition updated 'Chromeboy' at an extornionate price.I'd rather put the money towards finding myself an original JS 'Donnie' guitar!A far nicer and more desirable guitar, imo anyway.
All the Best!................JTM45...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
