Js2prm

According to a Chesbro rep, this is the model number of the new JS Ibanez will be showing at wNAMM this weekend. The details are sketchy for him, but he said that he can only get one for his area. He also told me that each rep is only going to be able to get 1. These are not a "for sure" thing, they are going to see what kind of orders they get at wNAMM. The list price will be $5300!!!!!!!!!

Quite interesting...

Re: Js2prm

Hopefully noone orders them at NAMM. It would be the only way to give Ibanez a reality check... glen

There will always be guys like me buying these things. They should take into consideration what their guitars actually sell for, and base their prices off that, and adjust the dealer cost. Wishful thinking, I know...

Reality check, 170 PLT's sold before the slowdown, these will be sold out Thursday. I spent 5 hours today spreading orders through different regions

Hopefully we don't have a repeat of the DNA turmoil we had with Chesbro last time.

You don't work in that store in ND where I ordered 4 and the owner asked Chesbro if they'd drop ship straight to me?!

P.T. Barnum said there was a sucker born every minute.

170 is not a great number worldwide..., it's actually pretty sad but as you know Ibanez makes significantly more profit selling 170 overpriced axes vs 340 at better pricing.

Re: Js2prm

It does make me wonder,

if they release another "chrome" JS, and it has better bonding or is made out of aluminium or whatever.. in otherwords if the finish will stick...

what will happen to the value of the JS10ths?

Obviously the JS2s will still be sought after... but I do wonder about the reasonable pricing of a JS10th, especially when they go for say £3500 used over here, if this new JS is about £4000 that MUST have an impact?

Yep, same one. Just got done working there as a matter of fact!! I remember the DNA struggle. I made sure today the same thing wouldn't happen; even talked to the sales manager! I was assured that it wouldn't, but I'm not holding my breath!! I believe it when I have it in my hands!

I should get mine, since I was the one that told Chesbro about the damn thing a long time ago, and had it on order before they had them in their system!!

Re: Js2prm

I've been trying to order them for 3 months.

That had nothing to do with the DNA's, it had to do with the dumbest move, asking if they could drop ship direct to ME. Once they *knew* those were for me, you weren't getting them. They had enough pressure from many other dealers that couldn't get any, and knew I was already getting 5 of theirs. That's why it was a debacle. If he hadn't asked, he would have gotten them
