Without turning this into the "Great Adventure thread" (that's a Six Flags Theme park, for those who've never heard of it)...I think once a year is enough for me. I seriously considered riding the new Kingda Ka (world's fastest roller coaster), but decided against it on better judgement (it was just me & the kdis...what would happen to them if something happened to me?) and the straight downward drop put me off too.

Anyway, we had incredible weather and the park was practically empty because it was a weekday. We went of all the rides we wanted to do 3-4 times with practically NO lines.

It was a great, but pretty expensive day ($105 admission, $15 parking, $50 gas plus lunch, dinner, snack & souveniers)...

Anyway...75 entries, 35 to go...lets get this over with guys, come on!!!

It was actually working? They built one at Cedar Point in Ohio. It's called Top Thrill Dragster. I visited the park twice last year and the ride actually operated for about 4 rides each time, then shut down. It's highly unreliable, which leads me to believe that safety could possibly be an issue - so I'll just watch.
