Twas the night before drawing day and all 'round the forum
The members had trouble maintaining decorum
The posters were nestled all snug in their seats
While lonesome metronomes counted off their quick beats
And kennydoe with our entries and Rich our guitar,
The deadline for the drawing seemed was all too far
The hour had approached and arose such a clatter
Jemsite's web host had stirred to see what was the matter
Away to the monitor some did fly in a flash,
They adjusted the brightness, on the side some did bash
Rich's eyes from some breasts did woefully turn
"Not a dime on this deal did I even earn."
When what to their beady, dried out eyes did appear?
But an essay finalist's name, (not a tiny reindeer)
The numbers appeared with a three, four, five, six
It was clear to one flamer this Jemsite contest was fixed
More rapid than eagles a few flame posts came clear
Most just rose from their seats and massaged their rears
They anxiety of waiting, the eminent defeat
It was clear to one hundred twenty three of us we'd fairly been beat
We sat down in our chairs and pecked away at the keys
"when's the next contest beginning?" all were buzzing like Steve's bees.
Thanks to Glen here at Jemsite and Rich and to Kenny,
I'll keep on entering these contests and spend every last penny!
Please hold your applause until after I receive the Jem guys!
