Hello Everyone,
I've been lurking the shadows of this site for years, I've grown to love this site so much that I'm on it atleast once or twice everyday, I've got Washburns & Fenders that I'd just about give away for the right Ibanez. I've become so obsessed with RGs its ridiculous. I've got an Ibanez exoticwood acoustic/ electric, an S7420 with a Liquifire7 & Crunchlab7, and I just bought an Ibanez Prestige RG3250MZ Fluorescent Orange which I love so much, It maybe the best guitar I've ever had the pleasure of owning / playing. The more that I look at everyone here's gear, the more I GAS. But I look forward to making new friends here, and learning everything I can about Ibanez. If you live in the Montgomery, Alabama area, hit me up. We'll jam, drink beer, and raise hell!

Hi my names macca, been looking at this site for a while now... There is alot of helpfull advice on here. My main guitars at the moment are an eko ranger 6, blackpoole custom fender stat, gibson sg custom and an ibanez prestige rg4570z.

Want to seek advice on shredding and speed building, licks to practice etc. may also be looking to trade a guitar or two, depending on what anyone has to offer.

Hope to speak soon :)

I live in Gothenburg, Sweden. I collect cheesy, low budget 80s hair metal guitars, among other things..

Allthough my main guitars are 777LNG, 777SK, 777DY and 7PBK I have a vast collection of everything from strats to V´s and I am currently getting more and more into the True Temperament fretting systems.

The original 777 series is my idea of the perfect guitar in every aspect, playability and estetics. I do not like the wine inlays, at all, as I´m not a hippie... :p

My background is from the punk rock scene but as I got better playing guitar I am also your typical shredder and I have no problem combining the two cultures!

Footswitch for Backing track Loops

As part of my work I teach children to sing. I sing and play guitar. I want to have a backing track which has certain sections which are on a loop (e.g. verse Chorus, bridge etc) that way if they haven't got the verse I can stay on it until they have. I also want a foot switch to move on to the next loop as I will be playing guitar at the same time. At present I create my backing tracks in garage band and have access to an iPad, Apple mac book pro and PC Latop. Can you advise on the best kind of equipment, software etc? Would I need a standalone piece of equipment outside a computer or could I stay within the computer software world? Could I import the back tracks into any external equipment.? Would they automatically stay in rhythm form one section to another?
Cheers

Hey there, name's Mike. Long time browser, and I finally made an account. I've been using the site to check out some of the pseudo chromeboy's people have made so I could decide on where to go to get mine done. I finally got mine back from the chrome guy, and once I have 10 posts I'll post some pics for everyone to see here!

Hi, I'm living in Scotland and love my Ibanez guitars. Just now my main guitar is a RG350DX with Di Marzio's fitted in it. Great guitar, even with the Edge Pro 2 in it, it works well enough for my liking and seems to stay in tune well. If it's set up right it's not a problem. I play my own stuff on it and it does a great job. I'm 50 now and have been learning to play since I was a teenager although I was more into bass then, which I still play on my Squier Jazz bass. I will listen to anything that has guitar in it and I like Hendrix, Zappa., Satiani through to Foo Fighters and classical, folk and even jazz. So I saw this site and thought I might get some answers to any questions I might have here.

Hi Paul, at least you know what a pentatonic scale is! You don't have to be great to enjoy it. That's a list of some nice gear by the way, jems are great to play. I play through various set ups but my favorite just now is my pan delay through a couple of 20w reverb amps and my rg, having fun with panning fx and a zoom fx pedals. Good for jamming with a few friends as well. Enjoy your guitars enjoy life and i hope your next guitar session is a great one.
