They sure do grow up quick Wilch!
Looks like some fun new shots! Are you still enjoying that 5D2? I have been seriously kicking around the idea of getting one. (In fact I have my 7D on Craigslist as we speak)
Nice job drag! The out of focus blades of glass in the front is a real nice touch.
Wilch...good to hear! I just pulled the trigger and ordered a couple L lenses yesterday one of which is the 135L which I know is going to be too long for my 7D. So I'm hoping it sells this weekend and I can get me a decent used 5D II.
Well I am now the proud owner of my very first L lens. (70-200 f/4L IS). Got in a couple test shots outside before the rain hit, got to say, I am loving the USM!
Thanks Shred! Love that shot! Natural light is my favorite way to shoot. Is that the 50 1.8 or the 1.4? I have been thinking of dumping my nifty and getting the 1.4 (more for the micro-usm than anything).
Kind of getting myself set for going FF. I was going to sell my 7D and get a 5D II, but I had too many low ball offers. Think I will keep it, and maybe next year add a camera. The 6D really intrigues me. It has some limitations, but I think as a second (portrait) camera it would be nice.
Thanks Rotti! When I bought it, I didn't think I was going to be keeping the 7D, but I have found it quite useful and keep it on there most of the time now.
Sure miss your winter shots this year!
Thanks, it's been all work and no play for me for the past year. I'm hoping to fix that soon though and I am planning to buy a camera in the next month or two.
Wilch, cool shot. By looking at this...the driver did a bunch of donuts and was either thrown from the vehicle or decided he was done with the car and the chick and walked away.

Wilch, just noticed your comment on the 135. Thanks. It was a tough decision between it and the 85L, but with the money I saved I was able to add that 70-200 to my arsenal....now all my other lenses are on Craigslist.
My good friend doriangrey just sent me this pic which is from provincial parks about 2 hours from Vancouver, it's unbelievable beautiful!
Thanks Ron for such an amazing pic!

It allows for firmware updates to the lens. You can also tweak settings and micro adjust with the software. Have to see how it really stacks up when its released
