Hey guys!
haven't registered myself since the hack in December, but I'm back again.
I'm especially a big Satriani fan, and the proud owner of a JS10 (aka the Chromeboy!). Furthermore, I own a Burns Brian May (a very good specimen:), a stringless Epiphone LP100, a maravilla classical guitar and a boss GT-6.

I also want to tell you about my newest creation, please give it a fair chance. Feedback is always welcome:

http://satrianiforum.no-ip.org

or the non-redirected address:
DIRECT ADDRESS

register now and make this the biggest Satriani Community online :)

remark: since it was created yesterday, there might be minor flaws in the forum, I think I've covered them all, but (small) changes are always possible!

The name's Geoff. I'm 34 from Houston. I've been playing since I was 15 but that took a long back seat from 19 to 32 as I was busting my ass trying to raise a child (hard as hell to play with kids around) Anyways, she's 15 now and starting to pluck away on the guitar and I've found renewd interest in playing (never really left, it was just hard to eek in some time).

I've got two guitars, an '87 Jem 777DY (775th off the line) and an early 90's RG550.

Amps: A Marshall JCM800 2210 w 2 1980 4X12 cabs ands a recently aquired Marshall AVT20.

Effects: Dunlop Cry-Baby Wah and a Digitech GSP21.

I found this site lurking for some information on my Jem and have been reading for a while. Figured it was about time to say Hello!

Hi I'm Ben! I'm 29 and have been playing for 21yrs of that. I got a JEM77DY about 5 months ago and havn't put it down since.
I'm heavily involved with the guitarists community www.blind-summit.co.uk (I make the videos etc) and through that got to interview Paul Gilbert recently (Yippee!!!).
I do a lot of work on that website and come here to relax (so do more reading than posting).
I think it's a fantastic site and everyone is very freindly.
Long live Jemsite!!!

Ben

Hello all, my name is Bob and im a new member as of 5-7-05. Im 26 years old from IL and have been playing guitar on and off for about 13 years and I still suck at it. Quit playing for a while because I got into racing so didnt have much time to sit and play, to busy working on the car. Got back into playing again about a year ago. Just bought my first Jem a few months ago and its the best guitar I have yet to play.

Hi,

My name is Thijs, and a happy new member to this Board.

I play bass most of the time, and though my main bass is Fender jazz, i love my old Ibanez Roadstar II as well, which i use as a backup bass during shows. I found jemsite.com trying to sell my Ibanez 6-string guitar (of which i'm still completely unsure which one it is, kinda like RG450), and well, it required me to register to this board so here i am!

Hey there folks,

My name is James, I've been playing since 1989. I started learning on a not-so-great Squier HM Series, but graduated to a RG 570 in 1991. Since then well its been an obsession with RG's , they are the ultimate workhorse guitar.

Currently I have:
RG USA Custom, RG770DXVM, RG770GI, RG570BK, RG550DXPN, RG7620GN, RG1527CB, RG565BK, Guitar Center 27th Ann. RG, RGR-470LTD, RG520QS, 2 RG560LR's, RG7420Mc, and an RG7421BK.

Recently I added a 540R-JB to the mix along with a Epiphone Explorer FR modded with EMG 60N/81B combo and replaced the stock Floyd with a spare Lo-Pro edge I had sitting around.

I have been reading the Jemsite forums, and website for a very long time now. I saw a thread concerning an RG USA Custom very similiar to mine recently and decided to register to respond to this thread.

Hello everyone. My name is Josh, I've been playing for about 5 years, I'm currently in a rather bad ass band, If I do say so myself. I started on a complete p.o.s., and now have an RG7420BP with an EMG81-7 in the bridge and an EMG707 in the neck. For an amp I have a Mesa Dual Rec running through two Marshall 1960A Lead 4x12 cabs. My collection of guitars is sure to grow. I'm doing kind of a backwards transition to here from sevenstring.org, I see a lot of people coming in from here so I figured I'd check it out.

Hi all, Arthur is my name. Am from melbourne australia. Have recently become the lucky owner of a new Jem7VWH. still cant believe it but is true....lol
Have afew questions though. hope someone can help. First off, the bridge studs are supposed to have 1.5mm allen key locking screws in them. These are not on my guitar. Secondly is it possible to trace the serial number to find out when the guitar was made? Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer these questions for me.
Seems to be the trend, so here goes.....Play the jem through a very, old very modified Marshall JCM800 with a Boss ME-50 for the fun stuff. My other axes are a gibson les paul studio dlx, a hand crafted strat copy made by a western australian company called formentin and an old charvel.
Been cruisin the site since i got the jem and i gotta say it rocks. hope to do abit 'o learnin round these parts. Thanks all.

Hello all (well, anyone who reads this I guess)

I've been reading Jemsite for a while and decided I'd join all you fine folk for a good ol' fashioned ho-down (pointy headstock style of course)...

I'm currently selling my Jem555 (I can hear the cheers now) in favour of a custom job I'm planning - Ibanez-ish.

Hello everybody,
I am the new, proud owner of LNG Jem 777 #150. It's a guitar I long dreamed of owning, and now that I'm all grown up, I can finally afford it.
One question for all you who own these first generation Jems - how do I keep it looking as brilliant as it does now? The green is still vibrant, the trapezoids look great, the pickups are a little faded but the knobs and pickup selector are bright, the trem is clean and pit-free and still has its cover. But the guitar plays great and I am a player and want to enjoy it as a musical instrument. But since I see these as true works of art as well, I want to keep it beautiful. And I've seen so many of these early Jems that look so washed out. Any tips?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi there. My name is Juha. I am from Finland. I love guitars, at the time i have only two guitars, Seattle (Ibanez, Jackson, Esp style heavy guitar) and a modified Tokai strat. I like very much Paul Gilbert style shredding music and also Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Van Halen, Toto and many others. My main 3 influences are Steve Lukather, Yngwie Malmsteen and Paul Gilbert.
