Does anyone here have any experience with the Mackie SDR 24 hard disk recorder?
I'm having trouble with the USB connection. I run Windows 98SE and it doesn't support usb mass storage. The only windows systems that support usb mass storage are 2000, ME and XP. Is there some sort of driver I can add to Windows 98SE that will enable it to support usb mass storage?
crazy, well that sucks I always kinda liked 98se just uprgraded to ME and then XP for no apparent reason, but XP is pretty cool, definitly the lesser of the multiple evils when compared to ME.
I was under the assumption that the USB connection wasnt working on the Mackie unit... I could be wrong, they may have fixed the SW for the SDR. Check the Mackie Forum, theyre a great help... (no kidding!)
At least you HAVE a USB connection for your recorder. I got the Mackie HDR a couple years back and lemme tell ya what a B***H it was to get the FTP server working for file transfers...... PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!
I guess it makes up for itself in the graphic editing....
Lemme know how you like the converters in the SDR
