I was thinking on dumping my spider II 75 for this.

Anybody here have any experience with this amp? All opinions welcome.

Thanks people.

I use one at home for practice. The fan is a bit noisy during power up, but it's a decent amp. I use a Triple Rec on stage, so it's a bit of an unfair comparison. The effects are ok as well.

Overall, a decent value, but I'd DEFINITELY go check one out first before trading or changing amps.

lol

Are you crazy?

The MG series is notorious for being a hunk of overpriced junk!

Roland Cubes and Vox Valvetronix destroy it for value and tone.

The first real Marshall is a DSL401, everything under that is GARBAGE made to trade on the Marshall name and nothing else.

I thought my MG sounded decent, til I tried my teachers JCM600.

No comparison.

They are ok amps, quite loud, and the EFX are nice, but really I would definately say go Vox Valvetronix. I was so gutted when I tried out a Valvetronix after getting my MG250. So much more versatile, and not as thin sounding.

Besides, my MG250 blew up on me - twice.
