morning folks.can you used a joypad on pc games instead of the keyboard.i really dont like using the keyboard.yesterday i bought black hawk down it appears you have to use the keyboard.is there any way of changing the controls so you can use the joypad.i find this problem aswell with online games too. cheers rob
course you can.. the problem you get with good flight sim games is theres hundreds of functions to control, even with a good joystick+throttle+rudder pedals connected theres still loads of other stuff to control on the keyboard.. great fun tho when you sort it all out.. my buddies and i play "lock on" and "sturmovik" and we used play "gunship" heli sim all multi player.. jeeeez what a giggle..
sounds like you need 3 arms, yeah theres loads n loads of buttons to press.think im used to playing on xbox and ps2.just cant get away with using keyboard
don't you fancy some "Call of Duty 4" ?? multi player? we play often, you're welcome to join in... and die of course!! only in the virtual world obviously..
Of course you can , you can even use the a joypad if the game doesn't support it directly , can't remember the name of the program but it just remaps the keyboad's keys to the joypad.
Get the XBOX 360 controller for PC... probably the best analog controller available today. Works great with simulators, including FSX.
