I have a GAX 70 and I've been suspecting neck warp because of the way it looks and the high action (even though i adjusted it so its just above the buzzing point). When I held a straight edge across the fretwires from frets 1-14, there was a gap between the straight edge and the fretwires on frets 2 through 12. Based on that, I'd say i have a warped neck :( . My question is: Which way and how much do I have to turn the trussrod?
Thanks in advance for your help! :D

There should be a slight gap if you do that - the neck needs that relief. Does it have wildly different gaps on each side of the neck? That would indicate that it is twisted. If not, then it is possible that there is too much neck relief - how big it the gap? If it is a lot then you need to tighten the truss rod a tad.
