hey prik
hey friend....
first off we weren't missionaries....we were helping some friends with a camp.....it wasn't a flipping god fest. Second i do put down the bible...i take college history classes at my school.
thats great, keep it up
I respect the history of paris, but not the new stuff about it. I don't care if indiana isn't the place to be. I don't want it to be. Although it has the most famous race in the world when peple don't know where indiana is all you have to mention is the indy 500 and everyone knows where it is.
oooh. great. thats truly awesome.
I have also taken 4 years of frech and would like you to know i have had french food. I'm willing to try...it doesn't mean i like the food, but i'm still willing to try it. Why bother insulting indiana,
but i wasn't. why would i? did you not understand my post?
that is rather stupid as u get mad at me for insluting another place....also i think every where has intresting history. I bet you didn't know that Fort Wayne was on hittlers hit list.
maybe because it was a military fort during an active war period? just remember what you said about the bomb, thats what i'm trying you to see, to be a bit more sensitive about what you say.
Didn't know that.... Im lived in fort wayne.I'm not some hick that knows nothing.
except for your spelling... but don't worry that doesn't really matter.
Have you s My town isn't no name. so don't insult the place i live when you get mad at me for insulting other places.
but i wasn't. you've misunderstood me. i said nothing bad about indiana....
Sure paris has lots of history, but all i was saying is france has a ****ty airport, not very polite people working for air france, and is dirty.
great food at the airport though
They treat my guitar badly the flite attends were rude and pissed everyone off on the plane.....even the frecnh people infront of me didn't like air france.
canadians don't like air canada, americans dont like AA... get real, nobody likes overprotected, whiney airlines. the industry is all messed up and has terrible incentives. whats new..
So i think i was a little mad about my guitar and i blew it out of proportion,
yes you did, by a lot. but i'm glad that you can understand that. thats a really good sign. it was the point of my post.
but also i think you have no idea what you are talking about.
in what sense? are you talking in general or something specific? i'm confused, to me it sounds like your're ranting again
so please don't insult me from being from a small town
but i didnt. again, reread the post. i also lived in a small town at some point. the problem isn't living in a small town, the problem is small town mentality.
because i am not allowed to move any where else seeing as how i'm 16.
of course, you're perfectly right. my bad. i should have noticed from your attitude/reasoning/spelling/education level. i'm truly sorry, i thought you were older. but at 16 i was not like you (but hey people are different right, thats a good thing). I'm sure you rock at guitar, since you have two fancy axes. my bad, why don't we just talk guitars
i apologize
i spend alot of time in st. louis...
hey! me too, i used to when i lived around there. fun city, no? but again, nobody goes just to se the arc .
not just the country...i don't just stay in indiana.
no, you went to france and germany, i know that. seems obvious to me.
Also i plan on going backpacking through europe after my senior year with a friend.
consider youreslf truly fortunate if you do and i hope you like places for what they are or are not, not for what an airline with underpaid annoyed employees do to a guitar you shouldnt have been travelling with since you're not a giggin musician
Paris is one of our stops. But there are alot more intresting things than going to see a big tower in paris.
I know, which is why i have listed them in my post during the historical references, once again, read it again (maybe you missed that point, or maybe you were there and just went to the tower haha)
If you ever go to germany i encourage you to go on some tours i went on 3 plus i went to a concentration camp.....don't bother with that it was intresting though.
thanks for the rec. At your age I was deeply interested in WWII and the holocaust and read a lot about it. I suggest a book by Leon Uris called Mila 18. i think i would go to the places anyways because i feel there is a deep connection with history, if you try hard enough. the videos might be more informative (i hear the camps are really run down in that sense), but people leave an impression somewhere, history does too, which is why paris is so neat right? I also rec. Maus I and II, you might like it better if you don't read much at all.
I got more out of the videos from world history class than going and seeing the camps.
sounds like a top course you're taking, keep it up.
