I usually loathe the H.R. Giger guitars; however, the new one is somewhat reminiscent of a certain Jem, don't ya think? (believe it says that on Rich's site as well)
Those were the best Ibanez's that i seen there. Dimarzio Had a chromeboy ... mainly to sell the "chromeboy straps" .... But they were so cool at the dimarzio table that they gave me a chromeboy strap .... and they retail for $120. After that, I got to meet Satriani at the d'addario spot. I feel so lucky for getting to go this year.
I was going to ask that same question. It doesn't have a lock nut, but on the top pic, it appears to have some kind of trem - look all the way to the right.
Weird, as I recall it was written on Friedman's that Ibanez would be presenting his signature guitar. Ah well maybe at summer NAMM.

André
