I bought a new JEM at christmas and have been playing it ever since. I try and change my strings as often as possible and also polish the fret board etc. I sat down after having changed the strings (correctly, of course) for half an hour and made sure the strings were stretched in, but they just dont seem to want to stay in tune!
I leave it over night and some strings go up in pitch, some go down and maybe one might stay the same, if Im lucky. It is very annoying because I have my first gig of the year coming up this weekend and I want to show off my new guitar.
So far, I have tried tightening (and loosening) the screws to which the springs are attached and I have also continuously stretched the strings, I broke my high E string twice lol.
If anyone has a solution, please let me know!
