Not exactly a new concept (LED inlays that is) but quite a nice idea (changing from the usual "LED lights look pretty" to "LED lights help in dark conditions") but I wouldn't imagine many people play in a venue that's really THAT dark!

Maybe, how necessary depends on how often you play on stage.
AS it is said that this was made for professional musicians, so there are not many people who really needs this products, but still i am interested in. Because sometime i have lives and sometime i play the guitar on dark room with watching TV, ha ha.
My 2001 J custom RG 9670 has 'glow in the dark' kind of side dot.
No led light, just a normal glow in the dark thing.
just found it out during the stupid blackout period in my city recently...
