Specialty colors were available only from certain large guitar chains such as Sam Ash and Guitar Center. They ordered a large quantity of a non-catalog color and offered them for sale to the public. DiMarzio New 7 - These are the original pickups introduced with the RG7620.These are USA made by DiMarzio, exclusively for Ibanez production. They are not available from DiMarzio.

DiMarzio Custom 7 - same as the New 7 (neck and bridge) but renamed to avoid customer confusion for the 2001 lineup.
