Here is another early photo from the '96 Ibanez catalog. This one had scalloped frets and clearish pickup covers. See the top photo for a shot of the actual production JEM10 (unscalloped neck).

Here are the certificate from JEM10s #128 & #779. Notice that on the Early Certificates the Date & Serial # are written in by Vai with thick marker. On later certificates the Date & Serial # are not signed by Vai.
