Ok, not a real guitar... yet! I'm CAD designing a seven string with these attributes. It'd be spectacular if Ibanez would build it. "1998 Ibanez USRM7" - designed by R. Nicholas Miller

Ibanez JEM777VDY Custom Herc Swirl - Here is another Herc Fede custom multicolor swirl creation. Lucky owner is Juan H. Sanchez (for e-mail see Links page). This one really looks good with the rosewood board.

Here is a prototype 7 string, privately owned. According to the owner... "There are only 3 made as far as I know. One was made for Korn and the other was made for Primal Rage. And guess who got the third one? Its all black with one white humbucker. The body is bound in white. Its got one volume knob. The neck is made of ebony with no position dots. The neck is bound in white with the side dots in pearl or abalone. It has a black headstock with the Ibanez letters in white. The back of the headstock says L.A. Custom Shop with a number thats stamped on the back 112096 P3. From what I can make of it, it was the 112th guitar made in the year 96,and the P3 stand for 3rd prototype."

Ibanez JEM777DY "Bad Horsie" project - Here is another DY beautification project, this time courtesy of Dave Weiner, Jeannie Pickguard & lots of elbow grease. Dave stripped the paint, replaced the pickguard with a White Pearl one from Jeannie and replaced some knobs and covers with DiMarzio stuff. The neck is now attached so more pictures are forthcoming from Dave

Ibanez UV7BK Custom Herc Swirl - Here is Herc Fede's first Universe swirl done for Ken Burtch, currently owned by Lance Hoskins. It's a GMC type swirl of a UV7BK. Herc is on a roll... a perfect 3 for 3.

Ibanez JEM777DY Custom Herc Swirl - Here is Herc Fede's second JEM custom multicolor swirl creation... it is unreal!!! This baby belongs to Shadow. Do you think Shadow is glad he beautified his DSY along with mine with the man Herc! This one has a UV77MC flavor to it and is as stunning as any of the ATD originals I've encountered.

Ibanez JEM777DY Custom Herc Swirl - WOW! I am very impressed with Herc's first JEM swirl. Even cooler is that the guitar is MINE!!! Two more of Herc's works of art will be appearing here shortly so check back. A picture is worth 1,000 words so enjoy these! Her name is "Kaleido" as in 'scope.

Ibanez Sabre Swirl Custom - 'JEM2000' - This is Larry Larsen's JEM2000. It's a standard Ibanez Sabre 22-fret neck guitar, with heavy mods as outlined in the picture. It has Evolution pickups and an extended cutaway. Larry loves the way it looks & plays!

JEM 7P Swirl Prototype w/ 777VDY neck - This is a prototype swirl, using a 7P body and 777VDY neck. Both these necks are thinner and narrower than the standard JEM neck. The owner bought it from a dealer that was not supposed to sell it. Notice the older style heel plate. The swirl color resembles that of production UV77MC more than the JEM77PMC or JEM77GMC. For more info on this true JEM, e-mail it's owner Shadow.

JEMinfinity JEM guitar - pre Ibanez JEM (est. 1985-1986). This has two Tom Anderson Pickups, a original recessed Floyd Rose, ebony fretboard, and the Despagni cutaway neck that the guitar below had. Notice the all-access-neck precursor that sadly Ibanez did not implement until 7-8 years later. This baby undoubtedly hums. A lucky private owner just bought this from the original owner.

JEM double-neck guitar by Joe Despagni - This is another custom made Despagni JEM guitar. This time it's a double neck. It's a 12-string and 6-string electric. The wiring is uncertain, but it appears to have (from left to right) coil taps for each pickup, a volume knob & neck selection toggle switch. The owner "Oz" is a real JEM fan!

JEM guitar by Joe Despagni - This is a custom made Despagni JEM guitar. The build date is unknown, but by the extra modifications to the body, i'm guessing it was built after the ones above. Notice the extended neck cutaway is shaped differently than "Jeminfinity" guitar. Despagni's standard omission of tone knob is evident on this guitar as well.

Pics Not Coming Soon!

JEM Guitar by Joe Despagni - pre Ibanez JEM (1986-1987). This was built by Joe for me. Check my bio page for more details. Guitar specs include original Floyd Rose recessed tremolo, rosewood neck, extended cutaway, DiMarzio X2N Humbucker in bridge position, Volume knob and Magenta color with body outlining as with the Jeminfinity guitar. No swirl though.
