Update: 4/99 For all of you who have e-mailed me support on the design, a very big thanks. I originally intended to use the bulk of the support as market reserch for the design submission, but most of the tons of letters recieved were lost due to the notorious system here. F.Y.I.: The pics of the Infinity pictured here on Glen's spectacular site are a bit outdated, as are the specs. The guitar now features a single piece (headstock+neck+body) composite back, with slabs of AAA quilted maple utilized for the tops of the body, headstock, as well as the fingerboard (which is deep-scalloped throughout). Continious transparent-gloss finishes such as black, red, blue, etc. are the norm. I've also made alternate design! featuring black-lined fretless and 48-fret (1/4 octave) scaled versions to submit as well. Ibanez's recent focus on "innovation" rather than retro has promped the submission. It WILL be submitted in the next two months. Feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, or design requirements (business pitch). Keep shredding!
