I bought a JS1200 from Rich Harris in the spring of 2008. It is the best guitar I've ever played. He is strict in his QC and does immaculate setups and work. My particular guitar was shipped during an extremely cold week in February. The push-pull knobs broke, I assume it was from UPS mishandling because he had the guitar well packed in foam and bubble wrap inside it's case inside it's cardboard Ibanez box. Rich did a great job of working with me to get the guitar back to him, no good local techs (although he offered to pay the costs to have one work on it), and he personally replaced the pots and resent it to me free of charge. He answered my emails quickly and was attentive to my questions. I can't recommend him highly enough for Ibanez guitars or parts. He is honest and his prices, while higher than a web retailer, are more than fair when you account for the work he does on his guitars. He now has levels of workmanship to help make the prices a little less but I would only get the Gold-Platinum levels. |
