Thanks! The seller says that it could be a rg550ltd edition which is match color with neck and also it's got sharkfin but i'm still not sure. I saw some catalog that it may be true but i didn't find blue color for rg550ltd. The tremolo is also confusing. Is it edge?
Yeah, that's an edge.
it's most probably RG550 LTD DAB (Dark Adriatic Blue) faded from being kept somewhere in direct sunlight with new scratch plate, new trem (should be a lo-pro) and some mods.
Yes, i exactly want to mean it.
It may be DAB but "the tremolo is not "lo-edge pro" and scratch-plate is "black" in my pictures. I really don't worry about pickups or switch modifications.
I suppose it's possible that it's DAB, but I really doubt it. Look at the difference between the OP's guitar and my former 450LTD DAB (now Lonephantoms)
Yeah, it's definitely more green than blue, and it looks more like emerald green (EG) than juniper green (JG) but it may have faded.
Either way, like you said don't buy this unless it's going super cheap as there are too many unknowns.
The neck and the body will have a stamp on them with the model but the body could just say RG550 and same for the neck, it could just say RG550 so that's not going to help you much.
Tremolo is 100% Ibanez Edge trem, nothing to do with Jackson.
