I've finished the intonation adjustment of my JPM100, following the instructions on Ibanez Rules. But look at the D string saddle, far back... I've never seen anything like that on any intonated guitar. I double checked, that's the correct position for all saddles.
Is this a normal thing? Or it's a sign that something is wrong?
If the intonation is good, then no need to worry. So, is the D string intonated properly? If so, then congrats! You can now play and not worry about your saddle placement.
I've had similar things happen with various strings on various guitars. Sometimes it's not the usual double slant you'd be used to seeing. As long as it pitches well, then all is good.
