cool.. 8) it's interesting reading about other peoples setups here.
So many cool combinations of gear & guitars.
I play a Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 Pickup Special, Washburn CS-780
with Buzz Feiten Tuning System factory installed, an Ibanez RG2027xVV
7-string, and a Fender American Stratocaster '57 reissue in White Blonde
with Ash body. Alongside a few others. Got the bases covered
pretty well for what I do. Still have my Ibanez RS440 Roadstar, my
first 'real' guitar {it's got a great neck! candy apple red finish yah!}
which was modified with the addition of a Washburn Wonderbar tremelo
system since the old ProRocker was cracked & broke in half on me! lol..
And of course there's the RG1550 which is currently up for sale here
Amplification-wise I use a Johnson JM150 Millenium Stereo Combo in
glorious stereo for clean + dirty tones in combination with a Hughes &
Kettner Triamp MKII coupled with H&k 4x12 cabs & Peavey 5150II.
Effects are just my fingers---->guitar cable------>amp
heh
For fun I like to run the JM150 & 5150II together with 5150 dry and
JM150 set for stereo delay and some stereo detuning for a pretty
full sound. Or the RG2027 magnetic pickup output to Triamp MKII
and it's piezo output thru the JM150 Combo. Really dig the sound
of that too. Could play that setup for hours, days lol. The 2027 is
such a sweet axe it plays like butter with new .10 strings.
Occasionally I'll break out the Boss SD1 Super Overdrive pedal
as harmonic boost for leads/etc. Along with MXR SCript Phase 90,
Boss CE-2 Chorus, Paradox TZF Flanger, & Sweetsound Ultravibe.
It's all good.
There's just nothing sweeter than the sound of a guitar.
play on,
