i think he meant all of his personal guitars, but it'd be pretty awesome if it really was on the production model 7vwhs!
i like the kooky look, it's different..
I absolutely and completely think this is an April Fools thing - you can't refret it, you can't even recrown the frets if you do a fret level - sorry, millions of guitarists worldwide get by with the vagarities of the conventional guitar fretboard - if they don't they can have a crack at a Buzz Feitin system, but this......
It looks like he is just having all HIS guitars done like that. If Ibanez picks up on it, then they may make a production line, or a custom shop option.
Notice though, in the video, he did not play the guitar at all. He probably has to get use to it.
I think to say it's not true isn't right. The fact is, we know our guitars aren't perfectly in tune at every fret and never will be seeing as how a human hand will never fret every note with equal pressure. Yeah we can get close enough to not notice by ear, but that's it. I just think it's such an impractical way of fretting a guitar it will never really take off. Although I think it's an interesting attemp at a very complicated idea.
already discussed in another thread. don't waste Tak's time about this, ask Steve when you pony up $$$ for the Evo experience... glen
