Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

Two days ago I paid for the subscription through Paypal but only received an email notifying me of the charge and my subscription. I was not given a link to activate my subscription nor has a link appeared in my User CP to load my avatar to my profile. Please help.

Re: Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

I can't check paypal (will forward this note) but see no subscriptions. Remember the subscriptions are automated from paypal meaning they don't show up until the subscription/payment is actually validated. Give it a day or two and please post back if it doesn't add... glen

Re: Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

How did you fund your paypal account? Unless you use CC or have paypal credit the transactions are typically posted upon confirmation. That is a valid paypal account but from when i 100% owned jemsite. The account was transferred to Alan & co. and due to paypal's limited features you can't "merge" accounts so the email address was left intact to not destroy the existing subscriptions. I'll email about it and please wait 48-72 hours... glen

Re: Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

Payment was funded via a transfer from my bank account. I just looked at my Paypal account. It definitely has record of the transaction and the deduction from my account, but it does say that receipt of the payment is unverified.

Re: Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

If it's Alan that has to "verify" the funds, then it might take a bit. Contact Lone Phantom and ask him to call Alan--he's been the only one that seems to be able to converse with him lately. Alan's been away, then busy with the new site, then away again, etc. He might not have seen the transaction and it's just sitting there. Stephen can get ahold of him for sure...

Re: Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

Still nothing. Can't someone who's a site admin simply switch on this privilege for me?

I don't want to act like a dick, but I don't feel like it is my responsibility to contact anyone here, especially when the site glady takes your money. This thread is me contacting someone to say there's a problem.

Hi, AB means well but that is simply too much info.

Try it now, I manually added a "subscription" for you... glen

Re: Problem with Paypal avatar subscription

For some reason I appear to be in the same predicament as Takin' a Ride above. Any assistance would be helpful. Has there been ongoing issues with Contributor subscriptions of late?

Many thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat, I did the full upgrade two Saturdays ago and nothing's changed or been updated for me. Any assistance would be appreciated.
