Thread Creation Date?

Admins, can we add a creation date column to the thread list, or add the creation date to the title/author box so that fewer threads that are many years old are accidentally resurrected?
I know the last post date is visible in a column, but somehow people, myself included miss that.
I know people are urged to use an existing thread if a suitable one is available but sometimes it's better to start a new one....
Any suggestions?
Jim

Completely agree with this. At least if someone does drag up an old thread it is more likely to be for a good reason.

Re: Thread Creation Date?

It's only possible if it is possible within the pHp forum software (obviously). I'll ask someone to take a look first at the possibility, then at the feasibility.

Re: Thread Creation Date?

Cheers jim777, an alternative I thought of would be to auto lock a thread after a couple of years. That way if there was good info it could still be referred to but not resurrected.
