Floyd installation

Hi. I just bought a new floyd rose on ebay for my ibanez rg550. I do not know how to install it myself, so I am going to ask a guitar tech to do it for me. On average, how much should a floyd rose installation cost? My guitar also makes this scratching noise when I switch pickups and the volume has been greatly reduced. What could be the cause of the problem?

Thanks!

Re: Floyd installation

Evert double locking trem that is not an actual Floyd Rose is a "Licenced Under Floyd Rose Patents" trem.

Please post pics.
If it's the same type that came with your guitar, it's AB easy install and we can help.
