Ibanez JEM 70V (Sea Foam Green) reviews/opinions

Hey everyone,

Enjoyed a black RGT6EXFX since 07', and finally preordered a Sea Foam Green JEM 70V, as it was the first JEM in my price range. Hopefully the first of many. Just interested in general feedback/opinions on the item. I know it's a cheaper model for reasons relating to its production, but a knowledgeable comparison to a JEM 7V would also be much appreciated, as I've only read that the tuners and body type are different. I am expecting to hear more differences, and would love to hear some people speak on it!

Cheers,
Shaheen

I have one- do not enjoy it is as much as the Japanese models. No scallop at the last frets as on the japan models. Plays well but not a one piece neck. I really prefer the one piece necks. Good sounding pickups and the Tremolo is nice. Fatter necks than I prefer as well.
