Jem DBK-Scratchplate nightmare....advice!

Hi all,

Opinions please. I have a DBK which after servicing the mirror guard (due to the britle nature) cracked when re applying. I tried a second one which worked but then a few hours later started showing signs of cracking.

So, im left with a question. Do i go for another type of material and if so which one...polished stainless steel.....polished aliuminium.....other??

I have looked at the Jem 90th and am i guessing right that is an aluminium polished?

Which one will give me the best mirrored effect?

Confused to say the least.

Thanks,

R

Just get another mirrored plexiglass guard and don't over-tighten any screws or nuts.

Thinking of getting one from Rich at ibanez rules but concerned about the "shipping shock" aspect. Thinking that leaving to climatise should allow the pleziglass to adjust??
