Need help with new tremolo system for Ibanez S470

What's up people. I'm planning on changing the tremolo system on my 2001 Ibanez S470. It has a Lo-TRS II tremolo system which is dated and no longer can keep the guitar in tune for a long period of time. I'm interested in the ZR-Tremolo system but I don't think it fits in my guitar since mine is one of the original models before the ZR system was invented. Can anyone here let me know if it's possible to do this? Are there any tremolo system you can recommend or is the Edge Pro my best option? Thanks in advance.

Re: Need help with new tremolo system for Ibanez S470

I just changed Lo-trs tremolo on my 1992 S470 with FR Special and it is great, it stays perfectly in tune. It is plug `n`play, you just need to keep original pivot studs, the thread on FR studs isn`t compatible with Ibanez - at least mine wasn`t.

You'd have to get your body all routed up to fit a ZR in there.

There are a few drop-in replacements--the ZR is not one of them.
You can go with the Edge Pro, Floyd Special, Gotoh or any other that has post spacing of 74mm.
