Hi everybody,
My name is Ric and I live in sunny California. I have been playing guitar for 4 years. I practice 4-5 hours a day. Basically Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert are the two reasons why I play guitar. I currently own a Jem 7vwh, a SZ520, and I am building a custom strat, and I am in the process of purchasing a PGM 301. For those of you interested in trading jems, and if you are around the California area email me. I am looking for a 777dy, 777pbk, 777GMC (I will pay extra with a trade for this one depending on the price). Anyway I'll leave it at that. Keep on shredding everybody and I hope to here from some of you guys.
Rock n' Shred

Hello, everyone. My name is Chris, I live in the Boston area, and I've been playing guitar for about 18 years now. My first Ibanez was a 1991 RG570, which I still own. I also own an IC500 Iceman, and just this week I became the proud owner of an RGT320QRBB. I'm into many different styles of music, but my dark master is still METAL. I've been lurking on this site for a while and I've gathered some great info, so now I'm looking forward to being an active member in the forums.

Greetings and Salutations,
My name is Ed and I have been playing off an on for a number of years. Just purchased my first Ibanez RG1570 and I must say "Wow". I really love the playability of this guitar. It kinda reminds me of an old Charvel I had back in the late 80's. Memory could be off but I remember loving that guitar. I also currently have:
Gibson ES-333
Gibson Flying V - early 70's model
Fender AMerican Standard with Kinman AvnBlues
Yamaha AES620

Play though:
POD xt
Mesa F50 head
Marshall JCM 800 1960 4x12 Cab
various foot pedals

Anyways I have lurked through here and have found this place to be a wealth of info.
Hello to all.

Hello,

My name's Matt. I'm 23 and I've been playing for about 12 years, 5 of them seriously. I'm currently running an RG320DX Wizard2 outfitted with Dimarzio Tone Zone (Bridge) and an Evolution (Neck) pickups on D'Addario 9 Gauge strings. I have some jam and live experience but I had to sell my Marshall Rig a while back. So I am only on a Line 6 Spider 212 (Room Amp). I wish to soon be purchasing a Jem7VWH and an EBMMJP to really compare which guitar I like more. I'd also like to get my hands on a MB Road King, but I'd have to sacrifice one of the guitars or wait a really long time...argh. For now I will be looking to replace my P.O.S. Lo-TRS II with a Lo-Pro Edge as soon as I can get a hold of my tech guy. I look forward to talkin with you guys sometime...Thanks!

Hello All,
My name is John and I'm from Pa. I've been a member here for a few months. I only own one electric guitar, the Jem7VWV, and 2 acoustic guitars- BC Rich 6 string and a Seagull 12 string. I bought the Jem new 7 years ago and I really see no reason why I would need to buy something else. It's an amazing guitar. I just had the Buzz Feiten tuning system installed on it and WOW what a difference. I HIGHLY recommend that. It's truly amazing. I did quite a bit of research on it before I did it, so feel free to ask me questions about it.
I also own the Digitech GNX4 Guitar Workstation and I'm very happy with that as well.

I would like to introdue myself and say "Hi" to you all.
I am returning to guitar playing after a 9 year lay-off (kids et al!).
I needed a sit down hobby again after being knocked off my Honda Fireblade and injured (and don't heal like I used to now I'm 44 !).
I still had a Squire Strat and Peavey Bandit 112 from old - but was never comfortable with the Strat neck. So I ended up buying a 1991 Ibanez SG770DX - It's a bit battered and bruised but plays amazingly well and was still in tune when I got it through the post!
But the thing I was looking for most was a thin and comfortable neck - and I have found it with the 770. It has got me praticing like never before.
I came across this site whilst looking for Ibanez info ( the 770 is my first Ibanez- but not, I suspect, my last - lol) and would like to thank everyone who has shared their experience and knowlege here- I have learned sooooo much from you Guys - THANKS !!
I ilve in Cheshire in the UK and like most rock type music and some blues stuff. I also have an Ensoniq SD1 synth and Korg X5DR module which I use to create backing tracks.

Cheers

Hi All

I'm Stewart from Scotland. 33yrs old. been playing since 17yr but for several yrs at Uni did not play much. Got a Universe UV777BK last month so I thought i'd join this site to hopefully glean info from other owners of these magnificent instruments.

Also have Epi Sheraton, yamaha electro acoustic, yamaha rgx 321p electric and a Gibson Les Paul Joe Perry Signature. Play through Boss GT6 to either Marshall 80w valvestate or Fender Stage 1600 or through PC.

I'm into Satch and Vai but also Queen Oasis U2 and many more

Hi there everyone... My name is Mark, and I'm from Boise, Idaho. I've been making guitar noise for a few years now and love all kinds of styles.
I have a JEM7 RB, you know, the ugly one but I think it is very sweet and it plays great! I am planning on getting a new JEM7V next because I just gave my 15yr old nephew my JS100 (with Joe and Fred P/U's) and a Peavey Bandit amp for his Birthday.
I have a Randell RG100 GS 150W Head with a Jaguar Cab that I play via a Zoom 3030 Bank but I want to get a Line-6 PODxt next and give the Zoom to the Kid also.

I love to read all the comment and so far I have learned greatly from all the advice and info thru this site, it's really great!
Thanks,
Mark
