Hey,
My name is Joe and I am 18 (turning 19 in 3 weeks :D). I've been playing since I was 14.

Guitars: American Fender Strat, and some crappy squier collecting dust under my bed. I am in the process of aquiring a JS1200 from Rich! Also got my eye on the JEM7VWH.

Hello my name is Morgan. Ha just like the screen name huh?
yes I like to keep it simple.
well where to start ...hmmm.
okay well first I want to say that I baught my first Ibanez Guitar formost because in the credits of a Steve Vai CD Steve Vai stated "I thank Ibanez guitars" --> and he continued to add " WHo makes the Greatest Guitars on the planet".
secondly it is this web site right here that was the blow over and got me to save & save till I had the money. thank you, thank you. the information you offer on the ibanez guitars is not only very informative and funny at times but right on the money. the set up prosedures are exact and I find you guys & girls to very smart. now I dont mean smart as in the smart backside but smart in well you know...so I live in South New Jersey. I am 32 I have been playing Guitar for 22 years. off and on
here is what I use
protools le
Ibanez RG1570
Marshall full stacked MG 100 HDFx
POD Xt Live
Cake Walk Music Junk Creator
Asus An8
one terabyte HD
4 GIG DDR-RAM
Nvidia G-force FX 6800
and blah blah blah and a POD XT regular for the times I dont feel like geting on my hands and knees to look at the small screen on the POD Xt live .
I do not and have not ever played in a band. one time when I thought I was a musical Master I tried out and was kicked out in less than 15 min. wow that was fast.
okay so I filled you in on who I am or at least you know more than you did a few min ago.. ok so tell me is there a place on here i can download a Ibanez Wallpaper you know somthing colorful and nice with a rg1570 ibanez and a nice colorfull background.. hmm or do you know a link? thank you
oh I have another question I want to switch out the v7 pickups on my rg1570 what do think I shoud switch them to? I was thinkinh evolutions but I hear they have to much highs and no lows?

I'm Tracey.
I've been learning the guitar and some bass but I'm still new to both. Someone from another site showed me this one. I've lurked for a day and like what I see. The main reason I was brought here was because I'm going to be painting a friend's guitar and was curious about tips and whatnot. I'll have to do some more looking around before I decided what I'm going to do. So wish me luck.

Hello guys

I'm also from Scotland, like the guy above. Had an accoustic since last September, been generally messing about for a little over a year, and bought myself an RG550 about 2 months ago. Black, with a maple fretboard, this guitar has helped me progress no end.

I'm a big Satriani fan, but I love JEMs (specifically the 7VWH) and I listen to a bit of Steve Vai. I need to get more of his CDs!

Here are the guitars:

My dream guitars are the JEM7VWH and a flame maple topped PRS Custom 22. I know not everyone here likes PRSs, but hey, if we were all the same, this would be a boring place.

Hope to see you all around on my travels through the forum...

pmaz logging in

HI, I do want to contact other members of this site that do use JEM guitars to play intrumental music such as jazz, fusion, bossa, etc. My goal is to share ideas, etc. I do use archtops, semi-acoustics, classical & steel guitars and solidbody guitars (a Fernandes w/ sustainer controlling a Roland GR-30 synth and an old Ibanez controlling a vintage Roland GR-300 analogic synth).
I do use AER amplifiers (2 AER alphas in a stereo setup for gigs) and Fender twins (65, 68 and a late 90's Fender Dual Professional) and some old processing gear (GT-3, Quadraverb GT, etc.). I am moving into 7-string guitar (after playing several years a 10 course renaissance lute) and the reason I am joining this site is that I am adding a 7-string Universe JEM guitar to my quiver but, I know nothing about these great tools and hope to learn s bit. Best wishes to all.

Hi. I'm Syaf, Brunei. It's a small country in South East Asia. I am a really big Paul Gilbert fan and I do listen to some Satriani, Vai and Eric Johnson. I listen to Jazz, Rock, Metal, Heavy, basically lots of genres. I just bought a Blue/Pink PGM3 last month, my first electric guitar. I've only been playing since 2002 but I had only started to play seriously since last year.

Stumbled upon this site when googling for more pics of my other PGM models. I am currently working on techniques and thoery, but I only have a book called 'Rock Guitar Secrets' published by Peter Fischer, published by AMA Verlag as a reference.

Aright, that's some stuff about me. THank you and see ya.
