Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi all, My name is Chuck from Western New York by the beautiful Niagara Falls. Seems like I have been playing guitar for most of my 53 years and next to a wonderful wife and two great kids it has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I have been playing Ibanez since they first showed up around here and have always been a fan. My first electric was a Ibanez Melody Maker which I sold for an early version of the Destroyer. ( Lets talk about the ones that got away!) I currently still play a natural flamed top Ibanez Les paul Custom copy from '77. an early 80s Destroyer 2, Rocket Roll 2 and a Studio. One of my Faves is my 15th anneversery Jem. Someday soon I will figure out how to add pictures of my favorite toys. Drop a line any time!!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everyone, my name is Rick. I've been playing Ibanez and only Ibanez for the last 15 years. I'll be 27 in Aug. I have a very nice collection of guitars all the way back to 78. I'm basically on here to gain knowledge as well as look for new aquisitions. My first guitar was a mint 1978 Ibanez musician mc200 which i trashed...i was a very clumsy careless kid growing up. I have learned to take great care since then when I'm dealing with my equipment. Look forward to meeting some good people on this site.

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi everyone,

I'm a 21 years old french guitarist (so please forgive my futures language abomination) living in Paris, France.
Every time I'd googled something about Steve Vai's guitars or ibanez guitars in general (which i'm found of), first choice was Jemsite. So....here I am.
Currently i have a Charvel Socal (2008, pagan gold) and peavey 5150 head & cabinet.
now i'm looking for 80's ibanez, and the best database for that kind of guitars is probably JEMSITE!

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hello everyone, new member here from Norway. I was the original owner of a 1989 JEM77FP until it was stolen from my apartment in 2001. At the time I was getting a bit tired of its looks and wasn't too sad to get to the insurance money for it, but a few weeks ago nostalgia got the better of me and I splashed out for a JEM77FP from 88. For an 88, or any model really, it is in excellent condition. I will show it off with some pics soon I have now sold my Fender and I am all Ibanez from now on! I love the guitar, and unless it is stolen again, it will stay with me. -A

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi all,
great site, lots of fun chatter. I actually only own one Ibanez, and ART160. I make pickups and am always looking for tidbits about high output pickups. I know from experience that high output can sound great clean. I'm more of a Satch lover than a Vai guy. I also love the DiMarzio connection with Ibanez. I want to own a Prestige S or SA one day, but for now my 4 some odd guitars will have to do.

Peace
Shannon

Re: New members - introduce yourself here.

Hi guys,

Venezuelan here again...

I got my MTM2 (black) fully upgraded with a couple of Marzios...!!

X2N (bridge) and EVO (neck), how's that?

Also, a couple of months ago I found in venezuelan **** (MercadoLibre.com) a nice and shiny VTB 700 (white) and I didnt hesitate (my wife did, hehe) about getting it.

This baby is holding a couple of DiMarzios D Activators and I have absolutely no complains...!!

So as an Ibanez and Dimarzio fan mysefl, I could not be any happier...!!

Cheers...!!!
