wah wah problem?

Hi all, I hope someone can offer some advice here

I am currently using my Peavey Wolfgang Special through a Pocket Pod into a 15w Marshall combo. Recently I've borrowed a friend's old Cry Baby Wah Wah (Just the normal buck standard one); however, I've noticed that when I connect the Wah either after the Pod or before it in the chain the sound coming out of the amp is really muffled.

Can anyone suggest why this may be happening?

Any help would great as I may just being doing something stupid, however, I suspect it may be the Cry Baby.

Thanks in advance

Re: wah wah problem?

Have you tried guitar>wah?amp to see what that gives you? As in take teh POD out of the equation for now.
