1987 Rg Humbuckers

Howdy I actually scored a 1987 RG550M
Road flare red. V1 v2. Do I leave it alone , or do a pickup swap? Chime in please
Also anyone else have one? Is your 5 way switch gift wrapped with humbucker tape ?
Like a Christmas package ?

I wouldn't rush to swap them out.
I have one set of v1 v2s (actually now in my daughter's Mikro) and they are decent.

I prefer the DeMarzios, but it is worth giving the stock ones a spin in your set-up first before deciding.
