Re: Anyone know a good/cheap Mac repair centre?

check these links out and try those suggestions:

http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum...fm/501348.html

http://www.popularmechanics.com/tech...o/4212374.html

http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/.../t-245872.html

If you get the drive to eject, try taking it to a mac dealer near you so they can replace the drive. That's usually a warning sign that the drive is going bad.

Dude, its advisable to sent it to a proper authorised dealer. Try work out a budget for it.. Last time a friend sent it to some-cheap computer repair centre and guess what, they damaged the entire hard-drive! I don't know how exactly what happened but it really wasn't cool.

i've managed to get th disk out of the drive by using a credit card cut in half,
i havent inserted another disk in it yet because i don't want to fiddle about inside again to get the disk out if it gets stuck!
