Re: Anyone See This Before?

I love the backing track. It kind of sounds like Mike Keneally.

But the guitar sound: I've heared that kind of sound quite a few times before and I think it just sounds awful. Juck.

This guy can play very well, though. His technique is pretty good with the arpeggio's and fast alternate picking. I don't play like that. I sound a lot more old fashioned.

Anyways, it was a cool video. Thanks for posting.

Kind regards,
Myst

Re: Anyone See This Before?

The thing that hits me about guys like this everytime:
- Lightning fast on sweeping, alternate, tapping etc.
- They can't "place" fast parts where they belong.
- Vibrato's are awful.
- Intonation is not very good(bends).
- song goes nowhere.
- rushing all the time, destroying the feel.
- Some other things I can't remember.. just woke up.

It's a pitty actually,.. If these guys just payed an hour of all their practice time on phrasing, songwriting, improvising and listening back, they could make stunning things..
