It pays off to have good friend mechanic. We brought a cheap truck sitting for about 10 years due to slipping trans. He has good eye for good stuff. We do the trans swap, put new set of tires and suspension lift kit plus heated seat, we got a nice DD. New paint coming soon.

Just remember that the engine, wheels and brakes are the most important parts. The exterior parts are easy to fix.
