Back from Disney World

Hey guys!
Back from the honeymoon. Fun fun fun!
I'll be back making trouble in the forums soon. Still recovering and getting back to normal life.
Be good, boys.

Congrats! The wife and I did our Honeymoon there too and at Isla Morada.
Very fun!
Now you need to go back to Disney with kids.

Hopefully that will happen one day, we'll have to see.
We stayed in the Caribbean Resort, Jamaica. It was nice.
Just took the bus every day to the parks. Fun fun fun!
Been there before, but it's different when you're newlyweds and there are just the two of you.
There are just some things you don't do when your parents are in the adjoining room.

Re: Back from Disney World

Did you remember what kind of knot you tied? It'll make it easier to untie if you need to

Okay, I'll tell you guys.... I know I can trust you to spread it all over the Internet.
At the resort they have man-made beaches, Jeff left a butt print and I left knee prints in the sand one night. Tee-hee-hee.

Catholic wedding. Also sanctioned and witnessed by a Baptist Preacher for Jeff's side of the family.
Had it in a Catholic church, any 'untying' will require and annulment, and a divorce.
Not happening though.

Ouch, tight knot! When you can't untie it, use a knife

Re: Back from Disney World

Wouldn't want anything that's not as tight, and neither does Jeff.
I kept my name though, I'm still Michelle Stanza.
Families aren't too happy about that, but it's my choice.
I had to get special dispensation from my church to allow it.
They are usually pretty strict.
Even tried to talk me into a hyphen, but you know how stubborn I am.
Pre-cana was insane!
They talk about how to be a good wife and husband, some real 'Old Testament' stuff.
Then this couple came in and they were supposed to teach us how to use 'birth control' without using any birth control.
Taking cervical temperature, timing between periods... UGH!!
Found out the couple that was teaching that part of it has a bunch of kids, and I'm doubting they were all planned. LOL
Still getting used to the idea of being a wife. I don't feel different, but at the same time; I do feel different, if that makes any sense.
Like; there's more purpose to my life now. I'm truly linked to another person, not just 'playing house' anymore.

Re: Back from Disney World

I don't thing one "feels" married until about 1-2 years into the gig.

If you go to The Keys stay somewhere in the middle. Drive into Key West but don't stay the night. It's gotten wicked expensive.

Also as the dad of a girl I don't blame you for keeping your name. In this day and age I think a woman should keep their name if they want to without anything being though of it.

Congrats!
