Bit Rate Changer

Does anyone know of any decent free software to re encode MP3s at a lesser bit rate? When I first started backing up my cds I ripped them 320, but as I am getting dangerously close to no hard drive space I would like to re encode them at 128 without having to re rip everything or do them one file at a time.
Thanks

Re: Bit Rate Changer

I was gonna say WMP but then I realized you don't want to re-rip..I've used MMconvert to change em.

Re: Bit Rate Changer

I use foobar2000 for playback and conversion, although you will need Lame for .mp3 conversion.
