Black T-shirts

so i was looking thru my closet and realized there are 17(!!!) black t-shirts hanging in there. alot were free shirts and some from shows i've seen but not all are concert shirts. in fact, only a few are.
i was just curious to hear if fellow jemsiters had this same wardrobe disfunction for black t-shirts?
count 'em up and lets hear what ya got!

Re: Black T-shirts

****, I must have 100's of black concert tees

Most of them are Satch and Vai and Iron Maiden

Oh....and I have several pairs of holey jeans to go along with them

I know you can relate to that as well!

Re: Black T-shirts

i figure i won't feel so bad after hearing the number of black t's from everyone else.
i have a box full of old t-shirts i won't throw out from concerts but the 17 i quoted are currently hanging in my closet.
BTW- those jeans are being mended as we speak. i hope to be wearing them at my next gig

Re: Black T-shirts

I love black T-shirts, and sweaters, but my mother says I shouldn't wear them because they make me look pale. But the other day I was in this men's clothing store, buying a neat jacket for a job interview, and the woman who helped me said that black makes everybody look somewhat pale. So I guess it doesn't matter. I think I have about ten black T-shirts.

I bet Joe Satriani has a lot of black T-shirts too!

Re: Black T-shirts

Uhm I hadn't thought about this before but you're right I've just had a quick look and there's loads. Is it something to do with being a guitarist that we feel we must purchase more black T's ????
