Speechless.

I'll just quote Will smith in Bad Boys.

"Now THAT's how you supposed to drive!"

I could never afford one of those. BUT, if you haven't seen the Bugatti Lego set, you should check it out. Can't drive it, but ti still looks super cool, LOL.

1.6G lateral? LOL

Technology is moving so fast [pun] before long government will get involved again. Too many inexperienced drivers getting behind the wheel of cars that are way beyond their capabilities to handle. Bad things always happen but some idiot is going to take out 50 kids in a school bus or something similar and watch congress actually act like the politicians they are.

At €5 million a piece, Bugatti is building 50, all of which sold out during the unveiling. Technology is moving fast in some areas. I believe the brake calipers Bugatti is using are 3-D printed titanium calipers that take something like 49 hours to print just one. I think it allows for a caliper to be made that could not be made any other way. Koenigsegg does the same thing with their turbo-chargers. They 3-D print two of them, one inside the other.

I hope you are wrong about the school bus and I’m sure you hope so too. There are still no inexpensive high-performance cars, although, super-cars are part of college campuses now so maybe you have point.

No they don't, it's a single turbo with a variable volume exducer housing to reduce back pressure at high RPM, this way they can use a smaller turbo for faster spool which will not overspeed as the engine revs past peak boost, the additional volume opens allowing more exhaust gas through without increasing the turbos rotational speed.

Engineering is hard, it's uses maths and magnets and stuff.

There is no way I can argue with that response. However, I do not think I could have made up what I wrote either. It is entirely possible I misunderstood what Christian said in the brief interview he gave which focused on the Regera. That is the context I recall hearing him explain the turbos. That does not mean I am right.

Are you a Koenigsegg fan? Every time I park in a parking garage I think about the "Koenigsegg doors" and how useful they could be. There are other cool things about the cars too.
