Bugatti is going to stop competing In terms of speed and focus on other areas, according to their press release. I think this is wise, but I also think there are other limiting factors like tires and physics that will make any improvement minimal. Not to mention, this is not really a safe activity.
I do think Koenigsegg will give it a try. Volkswagen probably won’t do this but if they let Koenigsegg use their track, that would be a very decent offer. I imagine it is safer than a road in Nevada and sales are not really something they seem to worry about. I think they have the same clients.
